A familiar New York face was on hand for St. John’s Big East rivalry matchup with Creighton on Sunday. Agent Sean Stellato sat courtside to cheer on Rick Pitino’s bunch, making waves in a flashy green suit.

In doing so, he completely disregarded a major theme for the huge league contest.

It was a white out!

The school announced the special occasion this week with 15th-ranked Creighton coming to town.

Riding momentum from a road win over Georgetown, the Red Storm was looking to keep excitement at a high. Custom t-shirts were set out for students and Johnnie supporters came in droves to Madison Square Garden to show support of the program.

Everyone was decked out in white creating an awesome scene in the Big Apple ahead of a highly anticipated matchup. Well, all but one person!

Agent Sean Stellato wouldn’t be bothered with the theme, making his way into the garden in green.

The agent went viral in New York this football season after client Tommy DeVito took over the starting quarterback role for the Giants.

He’s suddenly become a big name in the NYC! So big he wouldn’t be part of that silly little white out.

Rick Pitino understood the assignment, showing out in an all-white getup that trended ahead of the opening tip.

While not everyone in attendance participated, the white out helped create a hostile homecourt advantage for the Johnnies. The team used that energy to pull off a massive upset at a crucial point in the season.

St. John’s won in convincing fashion, 80-66. After taking a 26-25 lead in the first half of action, the Red Storm took complete control. They wouldn’t trail over the final 25 minutes of the game to improve to 16-12 on the season.

While Rick Pitino has seen his ups and downs in Year 1 with the program, there’s still a chance of making a late run and slipping into the NCAA Tournament.

St. John’s finishes the season with matchups against Butler, DePaul, and Georgetown who boast a combined 28-54 record. If SJU can get to 19-12, a postseason bid could lie ahead.
