Burnley minority owner and future NFL Hall of Famer J.J. Watt is in attendance at The Soccer Tournament in Cary, North Carolina and verbally steamrolled a dude in the audience who was chirping at him.

While J.J. Watt, wearing his famed #99 (in a Burnley-colored kit, no less), was walking onto the pitch, he responded to “Boston Connor” — a Pat McAfee Show personality — by saying: “You’re standing in that donut line, fat a–!

Given how frequently Watt is on The Pat McAfee Show and how well media-trained he is, it’s safe to assume that he and “Boston Connor” have something of a friendship.

I’ve had the unfortunate pleasure of writing about Boston Connor twice already this year, as his First Grade-level brand of humor (he’s got a mullet, his display name on Twitter is simply “Football”, his wardrobe is similar to that of Alan from The Hangover and he has a Bill Belichick tattoo — do you get it?!?!) is everything wrong with sports media, as it’s targeted to a specific type and age of people, making it almost unbearable for those not in that demographic.

That sophomoric brand of humor has also led Boston Connor to casually wade into nationally televised racism, as he suggested that Nebraska basketball player Keisei Tominaga, a college kid, committed seppuku after his Cornhuskers lost to Texas Tech in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

Connor later responded to the moment on Twitter, saying he was actually in line getting a coffee and not a donut as Watt suggested. He didn’t seem to object to the analysis that he’s a fat a–, though. Credit to him, because self-depreciation is the story of humor that kids don’t learn until at least middle school.
