The first half of the AFC Championship Game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens is not off to a good start for the Baltimore Ravens. But, it could have been much, much worse if Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson didn’t make one of the coolest plays in recent playoff memory.
Trailing 14-7 in the second quarter, Lamar Jackson’s pass was batted up in the air, and looked sure to be an interception.
Instead, Jackson caught his own pass, gaining thirteen yards, and averting disaster.LAMAR FREAKIN' JACKSON.

Famously, Brett Favre’s first-ever NFL completion was a pass to himself. But, it wasn’t in an AFC Championship Game on a ball batted straight up into the air for anyone to catch.
An interception there could’ve been the back-breaker for the Ravens. They ended up having to punt anyways, but
it could’ve been a pick-six that put them down 21-7.
As it stands, they trail 17-7 at halftime after a magnificent performance by Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce for Kansas City.
