Electric Crowd Reaction Shot Shows Missouri Fans Go Absolutely Bonkers For Red Panda’s Finale

Red Panda Unicycle Performer Bowls

Few things in sports are more exhilarating than Red Panda’s halftime show. She is the greatest to ever do it, and her ability to bring people together is remarkable.

Nobody — and I mean nobody — has ever walked away from a game without a smile on his or her face after getting to witness Red Panda. Even if your team loses, you will find solace in the joy that ensues when the legendary performer mounts her seven-foot-tall unicycle.

That’s a guarantee.

For those who are somehow still unfamiliar with Red Panda, here’s the gist.

Rong Niu, best known by her stage name, is a fourth-generation acrobat. She was born in China and quickly got into the family business. Her act, which was passed from from her mother, grandmother and great grandmother, involves riding a giant unicycle while balancing, flipping and catching multiple ceramic bowls on her feet and on her head.

Red Panda moved to the United States at 19 years old and has built a halftime empire. Her first invitation to perform came on Thanksgiving Day in 1993, when the Los Angeles Clippers needed a last-minute replacement for a canceled act. It was a massive hit and the rest is history.

Whenever Red Panda is in town, halftime becomes a must-see event. Nobody leaves their seats and the entire arena hangs on every single bowl flip. Even if she misses, which definitely happens, the entire crowd picks her back up and continues its unwavering support.

Red Panda was in Columbia, Missouri on Thursday night and took the court at halftime of the Tigers‘ women’s college basketball game. The crowd’s reaction to her five-bowl flip is electric.

Every single person at Mizzou Arena went bonkers when the bowls landed atop her head. Two fans sitting courtside, who may not have known each other prior to that moment, high-fived as if their team had just won a national championship.

She is the greatest halftime performer of all-time. Red Panda forever!
