The Rams have secured Tyler Higbee for the long haul.
The team inked him to a three-year, $27 million contract extension that’ll keep him on the team’s roster until 2026, according to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport.
Higbee was gearing up to test the free-agent waters at the end of this season, but it looks like he’s chosen to stick around, at least through 2026.
Higbee has been in the NFL for eight seasons now, he currently hauled in 11 receptions for 132 yards with zero touchdowns in three games.
As part of his new deal, Higbee’s pocketing a $17 million in guarantees, and the deal is worth up to $30.5 million in max value, $27 in base value. Not too bad for a 30-year old NFL player.

Higbee has come long way since being a fourth-round pick back in the 2016 Draft. He’s been a reliable target over the middle throughout his career, racking up 317 catches for 3,239 yards and finding the end zone 20 times.
Higbee was also a part of the Rams Super Bowl team 2021.
He’ll keep the chains moving for Matthew Stafford for awhile longer.
