UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones made an awkward appearance on this weekend’s PFL vs Bellator card in Saudi Arabia with Francis Ngannou in attendance.
On Saturday, Jones was interviewed in the middle of the card and was asked if he believes he’s ever going to fight Ngannou, who left the UFC last year to join the PFL.
“I feel like there’s a lot of fights the world wants right now,” said Jones. “There’s the Tom Aspinall fight that’s really massive. Francis Ngannou and I would be really massive. And Stipe [Miocic], to the hardcore fans, is still a respectable opponent.”
“I don’t know how the cards are going to fall. My prediction is that I will beat Stipe Miocic. My prediction is I will beat Tom Aspinall and Francis Ngannou. The way that it unfolds is really not my business. My job is to do what I’ve always done, since day one.”
Jon Jones was asked if he’d ever fight Francis Ngannou.

During Jones’ interview, Ngannou heckled his rival for being “fat.”
“In your dreams. You are f*cking fat.”
