Pat McAfee Walks Back Reckless Quip About Raiders Owner Mark Davis

Sports show host Pat McAfee attempted to pile onto a viral newsbreak involving Raiders owner Mark Davis on Monday with a quip during his most recent appearance on WWE Raw. It backfired less than 24 hours later. The unsubstantiated rumors claimed that the 69-year-old was having a baby with 26-year-old dancer Hayden Hopkins.

Those lies formed following her pregnancy announcement earlier this year due to her presence in the team’s suite during a past football game.

Seated next to Mark Davis at that contest, social media ran with the whispers – at the expense of Hopkins’ well-being.

“Reports of Mark Davis being the father of my child are wildly untrue,” she wrote in an online post Monday. “I was pictured next to him at a game in 2022 and have endured false rumors of a romantic relationship since… These continued media stories are affecting what should be my happiest days.”

As it turns out, the father of her child appears to be MLB star Joey Gallo – not Davis.

That announcement made McAfee look a bit foolish for his comments during a recent airing of WWE’s Monday Night Raw. He walked those remarks back shortly thereafter.

“It was reported all over the internet that Mark Davis was expecting a child with a 26-year-old,” he said on Tuesday’s edition of the Pat McAfee Show.

“Turns out, that is not the case… I’d like to apologize for perpetuating a lie… We’re obviously a part of this.

“Mark Davis is not the father, but we would like to congratulate Joey and Hayden Hopkins on a beautiful baby coming this fall.”
