Saturday Night Live knew exactly what it was doing when it had Sydney Sweeney portray a Hooters waitress during her hosting gig this past weekend.
That’s because they’ve done it numerous times before with similar skits involving women like Lindsay Lohan, Katy Perry, and Kim Kardashian when they hosted the comedy show.
Naturally, Sydney Sweeney’s Hooters skit went viral, pretty much as she expected it would.
The skit has racked up almost three million views on YouTube with another million-plus each
It has been a social media juggernaut, and one that the company featured in the skit, Hooters, decided to try and capitalize on by their association with it.
“Sydney, if you work one more shift before hanging up your orange shorts, we’ll donate the day’s proceeds to The V Foundation for Cancer Research,” Hooters’ X account tweeted, tagging Sweeney, Saturday Night Live, and The V Foundation.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research was all over the request, backing Hooters up on X with a GIF of Sydney Sweeney on Hot Ones.

Unfortunately for them, much like when Pop-Tarts begged Taylor Swift for her homemade treats recipe earlier this week, it would be a monstrous surprise if Sydney Sweeney even acknowledged Hooters’ request, let alone fulfilled it.
After all, she’s kind of busy this week walking around dropping jaws in $5,800 sequined underpants at the Miu Miu Womenswear show as part of Paris Fashion Week.
