Warriors Commentator Loses His Mind When Victor Wembanyama Gets Put On A Poster

Victor Wembanyama was put on a poster in a recent matchup against the Warriors, being embarrassed on a dunk attempt by Golden State reserve Trayce Jackson-Davis.

The vicious slam put an emphatic end to a Warriors win, and play-by-play announcer Bob Fitzgerald lost his mind.

The jam came in the final moments of the matchup with the Dubs leading by nine points. Jackson-Davis found himself isolated with Wembanyama on the outside, and he took advantage by driving to the hoop.

TJD got by the rookie phenom, who quickly tried to make up ground from his trail position. Wembanyama was able to get into a position to challenge, forcing the Golden State forward to take things into his own hands.

Leaping up with the 7-4 center, Jackson-Davis threw down a rim-rattling dunk that sent Wembanyama falling to the floor.

Fitzgerald immediately lost it in the booth.

“That is his welcome to the league moment,” Fitzgerald’s broadcast partner added.

The dunk on Victor Wembanyama immediately went viral, leading to a major reaction from NBA fans on social media.

Trayce Jackson-Davis, who was fouled on the dunk, made the free throw for good measure to extend the Warriors’ lead to 11 points.

Victor Wembanyama would add a meaningless free throw with 38 seconds left to close the gap to 10, adding to his game-high 27 points. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough, and most viewers will only remember this humiliating end to the big man’s night.
