Ryan Garcia has no remorse over missing weight for his fight against Devin Haney.
Garcia was scheduled to fight Haney for Haney’s 140 pound WBC championship belt on Saturday night.
Unfortunately, Garcia badly missed weight by three pounds and will not be fighting for the championship while also paying up $1. 5 million to honor a weight bet limit to salvage the fight.
Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia WILL still go ahead tomorrow night, despite Garcia coming in 3.2lbs overweight, as the camps have agreed a deal. Haney has said that Garcia honoured their press conference bet and will pay him $500,000 per pound overweight (a total of $1.5million).

Garcia would later jump on social media to brag about missing weight.

“I feel great and I got a 3 pound advantage Let’s gooo hahahahaa. Winners do what they have to do I’m still sharp. Why would I force my self to make weight so I can be weak. Nah I’m here to win”
The boxer doesn’t seem to care about Haney’s title.
Actually 1.5M
I don’t know
3 pounds is nothing stop crying
