Fans Stunned To See College Football Program Offer A Scholarship To An 11-Year-Old

Rudolph “Blaze” Ingram could quite be the youngest person to ever land a college football offer. The 11-year-old speedster was recently offered a scholarship by Florida A&M.

The news has taken college football fans by surprise, and many are posting their responses online. The middle schooler has now gone viral on social media.

A future member of the 2029 recruiting class, “Blaze” has already made headlines for his speed and quickness. Hence, the name. As a seven-year-old, the Tampa native broke the ESPN record for the fastest 100-meter dash in his age group.

He ran those 100 meters in 13.48 seconds, blowing his competition out of the water. That quickly landed him the moniker of “fastest kid on the planet.”

Fast forward four years, and he’s making headlines once again.

Earlier this week, “Blaze” Ingram posted a video of his conversation with the FAMU director of recruiting on his Twitter page.

“I’ve been talking with your dad, and I’ve been following you for a couple of years and you still have a long way to go. But you have a good support staff, and you are a worker.

“So, what I’m going to do is offer you at FAMU… You have a long way to go; keep taking care of those grades and keep working the way you’re working, and we’ll get you up to the spring game.”
