People Think Drake Committed A Huge Unforced Error By Referencing Millie Bobby Brown While Responding To Kendrick Lamar

The rap world has been consumed by the increasingly heated beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, and a ton of people think the former accidentally told on himself while name-dropping Millie Bobby Brown in his response to a diss track on Sunday.

The feud in question has seemingly been simmering for close to a decade, but it started to reach a boiling point when Kendrick Lamar fired some shots at Drake on a song with Future and Metro Boomin at the end of March.

That led to Drake releasing a couple of responses of his own that initially went unanswered until K-Dot kicked things into high gear courtesy of “Euphoria,” which saw the Compton native go scorched earth on his foe from Toronto for more than six minutes.

Drake had failed to issue a response by the time Kendrick delivered on his promise to go back-to-back by unveiling “6:16 in LA” a few days later. His foe clapped back on the same day with “Family Matters,” but Kendrick didn’t waste any time responding with “Meet the Grahams” before following that jab with the uppercut that was “Not Like Us.”

That last track saw Kendrick go all-in on Drake while accusing him of engaging in some questionable relationships with minors. That is obviously not a reputation you want to have, and the self-proclaimed 6 God devoted a good chunk of “The Heart Part 6” to disputing the (admittedly unsubstantiated) claims he’s a child predator.

That included a line where Drake raps “Only f—– with Whitneys, not Millie Bobby Browns, I’d never look twice at no teenager,” which referenced the story we were treated to in 2018 when the Stranger Things star (who was 15 years old at the time) revealed she regularly texted with the former child actor who is more than 17 years her senior.

However, Twitter was quickly flooded with reactions from people who correctly noted Kendrick hadn’t explicitly mentioned Brown in any of the songs he put out before Drake got defensive about their relationship.

Again, there is no tangible evidence that suggests Drake has engaged in any illegal behavior with Brown or any other underaged individuals. With that said, when you’re in the middle of the most toxic hip-hop beef we’ve been treated to since Jay-Z and Nas went at it, you need to make sure all of your bases are covered before you decide to release a song.
