Nobody likes Mondays. Not even the world’s No. 1-ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler.
Scheffler is both the best and hottest golfer on the planet (not named Nelly Korda) right now and not even a post-Masters hangover could slow him down.
But the weather is a different story. Scheffler looked set to win his fourth tournament in five tries on Sunday evening when a thunderstorm brought a halt to the final round of the RBC Heritage Invitational.
He sat at 20-under and had a five-stroke lead with just three holes to play.So as you can imagine, Scheffler wasn’t exactly overly excited about having to return to the course Monday at 8 a.m.
Nice to see Scottie has the same Monday attitude about work as most of us do. pic.twitter.com/ftZvUatQud

When Scheffler did return, he was rocking a Groutfit and looked visibly unhappy to be there.
Who could blame him? Certainly not fans.

He just came by the office to clean up a few urgent files but will be working remotely the rest of the day, thus the outfit

Scheffler made quick of his final three holes. As did the other handful of players remaining on the course. He went on to take the victory by three strokes over Saheeth Theegala in second at 16-under.
Victory At RBC Heritage Puts Scottie Scheffler In The History Book
So, just how dominant has Scheffler been?

He just won his 11th tournament since the beginning of 2022. That is four more than Cameron Smith and Jon Rahm in second with seven. He has also gained nearly 500 strokes on the field at that time, which is more than 50 over Rory McIlroy in second place.
But Scheffler isn’t just winning tournaments. He’s winning the biggest tournaments out there.
Arnold Palmer Invitational
THE PLAYERS
The Masters
RBC HeritageA major, the TOUR's flagship event and two longtime invitationals held on four disparate venues that ask different questions. No one had won at all 4 in their career until Scottie just did so in a span of 44 days.

Monday’s victory made him the first person ever to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the Players Championship, The Masters and the Heritage Invitational. He did so all in the same season and in a span of less than 50 days.
Nothing can stop Scottie Scheffler. Not even Mondays.
