Georgia offensive lineman Amarius Mims is an absolutely massive human being. He is listed at 6-foot-7, 340 pounds as a 21-year-old and has dwarfed normal-sized people since the day that he was born.
An old video from high school has gone viral in recent weeks as Mims prepares to be drafted into the NFL in April.

Now, four years later, Amarius Mims towers over just about everybody at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis. He was photographed next to some members of the media on Saturday and the size difference is jarring.
It is truly hilarious how small they look next to someone who is at least 8/10 years younger.
Mims, who dealt with injury last season, made six starts at right tackle for the Bulldogs after serving as a reserve in 2021 and 2022. Despite his limited playing time, it would be a surprise if he does not hear his name called during the first round. The former five-star recruit is that good.
Although Mims spent most of his career on the right side of the line, he is more than willing to play at either tackle position on the next level. Whichever team chooses to draft him will make the decision that makes the most sense for their roster. Either way, regardless of whether he ends up at the right or left tackle spot, having someone of such significant size and strength will obviously be a major boost to any offensive line.
And while his giant frame is eye-popping, it’s even more impressive that Mims isn’t fat. He doesn’t look like a lineman, which is a testament to his conditioning and diet regimen.
“Freak” is the most applicable noun for Mims.
