After four games, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are still looking for their first win of the 2024 WNBA season. They took on the Seattle Storm on Wednesday night looking to finally get into the win column.
But, if they keep getting fouled and having it ignored like a shot to Caitlin Clark’s face by Storm forward Ezi Magbagor, it’s going to be tough.
With just three seconds remaining in the first half and the Fever down 44-38, Caitlin Clark drove to the basket looking to cut the lead before halftime. Instead, she was clearly fouled by Magbagor.

The officials have to call that, right? Wrong. They didn’t, as they considered that a good block.
Yes, Magbagor did get the ball on the initial swat. But, the follow-through clearly whacked Caitlin Clark in the head, and it definitely should’ve been a foul. You have to wonder what the call would’ve been in the NBA with one of the league’s superstars driving to the basket.
And, with an 0-4 record, the Fever need all the help they can get.
Credit to Clark for not losing her temper at the officials. In the team’s last game against the Connecticut Sun on Monday, Caitlin was given a costly technical foul in a close game in the fourth quarter after disagreeing with a non-call.
Clark, the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer at Iowa that helped women’s basketball set massive viewership records,
Through four games, Clark is averaging 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 5.5 assists on 41% shooting from the floor and 34% from three-point range.
