Marvel Studios has released the second official trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, and unlike the first teaser that was released earlier this year, this latest trailer features plenty of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
Jackman first began playing Wolverine in the 2000 film X-Men and would go on to play the character for 17 years until the release of Logan in 2017. Deadpool & Wolverine, however, will mark the first time he’s played the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film.

While Marvel Studios has yet to release the official synopsis for the movie, the plot seems to revolve around the Time Variance Authority plucking Deadpool and Wolverine out of their respective universes and bringing them to the MCU’s timeline to save the day.
Unlike recent years, Marvel Studios is releasing just one film in movie theaters this year and that’s Deadpool & Wolverine, which is the third film in the Deadpool franchise but the first to be produced by Marvel Studios. Deadpool was released in 2016 and Deadpoool 2 was released in 2018 by 20th Century Fox.
Deadpool & Wolverine will also be the first R-rated film in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thanks to that R-rating, Jackman’s Wolverine is heard dropping tons of F-bombs in the trailer. The film will also feature far more graphic violence than the usual MCU film.
In addition to Reynolds as Deadpool and Jackman as Wolverine, Deadpool & Wolverine also stars Emma Corrin, Owen Wilson, Matthew Macfadyen, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Jennifer Garner, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Stefan Kapičić, Rob Delaney, and more.
The film will hit movie theaters in the United States on Friday, July 26. You can check out the teaser for Deadpool & Wolverine, which was released earlier this year, below.
