As we get nearer and nearer to the July 19 release date of EA Sports College Football 25, the excitement continues to build.
By almost every account, the game looks like everything that fans of the franchise could have possibly asked for.
Except for one glaring mistake.
Hey uh @EASPORTSCollege you forgot our second deck haha pic.twitter. com/QxpW0pRkam

The game includes authentic stadium renderings for over 100 FBS football programs, including the Texas State Bobcats…kind of.
Bobcat Stadium, built in 1981, is a 30,000-seat stadium that houses one of the fastest-growing programs in the country in terms of attendance.
There’s just one problem. Bobcat Stadium has two tiers.

It does not, at least at the time of the latest trailer, feature two tiers in the game. Where are all those virtual fans going to sit?!
Now, by all accounts, the game looks fantastic. Bud Elliott of 247Sports had this to say about it:
“As someone who last played the last iteration and kept playing it for a while, the gameplay is just so much smoother. It feels like it was gone for about a decade and is now back. Yet it does feel different than how Madden plays. It’s a little bit faster. In the old game, you could wait until the last possible second to pass and the guy would usually get it off. That is noticeably different. They [also] put a ton of time and energy into really trying to make each playbook distinct.”
That’s encouraging! But it doesn’t mean you can just completely leave out an entire deck of a stadium!
Can you imagine leaving the hill out of Clemson Memorial Stadium? Or just closing in the entire horseshoe at Ohio Stadium?
Of course not, because that would be ridiculous!
We get that Texas State isn’t exactly a powerhouse. But please put some respect on the dang Bobcats’ name next time.
