LeBron James wants people to chill out when talking about his son’s future draft status.
On Monday, it was revealed that ESPN did not list Bronny James in their 2024 mock draft. Bronny was moved to ESPN’s 2025 projections as a second-round pick.
Bronny is currently in his freshman season at the University of Southern California and is lucky to be playing basketball after he suffered a cardiac arrest during the summer.
While working himself into the lineup, Bronny has averaged 5.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists during his 19 appearances this season.
After it was revealed that ESPN was removing Bronny from their 2024 draft board, LeBron went on social media to send a message about his son’s draft status.

“Can yall please just let the kid be a kid and enjoy college basketball. The work and results will ultimately do the talking no matter what he decides to do. If y’all don’t know he doesn’t care what a mock draft says, he just WORKS! Earned Not Given!”
“And to all the other kids out there striving to be great just keep your head down, blinders on and keep grinding. These Mock Drafts doesn’t matter one bit! I promise you! Only the WORK MATTERS!! Let’s talk REAL BASKETBALL PEOPLE! ”
