WNBA veteran Alyssa Thomas appeared to send a message to Angel Reese on Saturday.
For the past week, there has been a debate about how WNBA vets should welcome the star-studded rookie class to the league.
“This is our job…it doesn’t matter who you are or what rookie you are, vets are coming at your neck cause we’re here to show you this is a grown woman’s league,” said Las Vegas Aces’ Alysha Clark told the media
On Saturday night during the Sun-Sky game, Thomas slapped Reese in the throat and threw to the ground.
A new courtside video shows Thomas bullying Reese in the paint and dropping the rookie to the ground while battling for a rebound on the play before the ejection.

Reese took the high road with Thomas during her postgame press conference.
“They don’t give a damn if I’m a rookie. … They’re not supposed to be nice to me. … Thank you AT for sending a message to me because I got back up and I kept going.”
