Charles Barkley loves Anthony Edwards but he believes the Michael Jordan comparisons are getting out of hand.
During the playoffs, the 23-year-old Edwards has averaged 30 points per game and has scored 40 points twice in his series against the Nuggets.
Some online have even compared him to the great Michael Jordan.

After the Timberwolves latest loss, Barkley went on a rant telling people to stop comparing Edwards to Jordan.
Barkley: Please America, please stop the Michael Jordan stuff. This guy has had one good playoff run. I think he’s going to be a great player…”
Shaq: “Is he close?”
Barkley: “Hellll naw… close to who? They both black.” He’s not close to Michael Jordan…I love Anthony Edwards but do not do that”

Edwards also wants the Jordan comparisons to stop.
“He’s one of one, the greatest of all-time for sure, so yeah I want them to stop.”
Anthony Edwards wants to be talked about as “the first Anthony Edwards — not the next Michael Jordan.”
“He maybe got a mix of Michael Jordan in him… but I got a trey ball. That makes me a little different than Michael Jordan.”
