We finally have a ruling on the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight.
Last month, it was revealed that the 27-year-old Paul would face the 57-year-old Tyson in a boxing match at Cowboys Stadium this summer.
There were initially questions as to whether the fight would be contested as a pro bout or an exhibition.
According to a report from ESPN, the bout has officially been sanctioned as a pro fight by the Texas State Athletic Commission with a few rule tweaks.
“Mike Tyson and Jake Paul signed on to fight each other with the desire to do so in a sanctioned professional fight that would have a definitive outcome,” said Most Valuable Promotions co-founder Nakisa Bidarian.
