Paige Bueckers had the best response to the controversial foul call at the end of the Iowa-UConn Final Four game was the best.
Late in the 4th quarter, UConn’s Aaliyah Edwards was called for a questionable offensive foul call after she tried to set a screen for Bueckers with five seconds left in the game and down one point.

The offensive foul basically decided the game, and several former players and UConn coach Geno Auriemma have criticized it.
Bueckers, on the other hand, took the classy approach and said the call didn’t decide the game.
“Everybody can make a big deal about that one single play but not one single play wins a basketball game or loses a basketball game,” said Buecers “I feel like I made a lot of mistakes that could’ve prevented that play.”
Bueckers received praise for her response.
