Caitlin Clark is going to make big money out of college.
Last week it was revealed that the Iowa star had signed a massive deal with Nike to promote her own signature shoe.
Initially, it was reported that Clark would be making upwards of $20 million with Nike, but a new report says that she will be making a lot more.
According to the Wall Street Journal’s Rachel Bachman, Clark will earn nearly $30 million in an 8-year deal with Nike.
“The biggest name in women’s basketball is set to sign an eight-year deal worth up to $28 million with the biggest name in sportswear, according to people familiar with the situation.”
Bachman goes on to report that Under Armour had offered Clark a $4/16 million deal and even had Steph Curry pitch the star but they came up short.
Sneaker brand offers for Caitlin Clark per @Bachscore:
Nike: $28M, 8 years
UA: $16M, 4 years
Adidas: $6M, 4 years

It’s safe to say that Clark will be the highest paid WNBA of all-time in her first year after you begin to count her other endorsements.
