ESPN Broadcaster Molly McGrath Hopes To See Female Representation In NCAA Football Video Game

ESPN broadcaster Molly McGrath is excited for the new EA Sports College Football ’25 video game, but she’s hoping to see a female presence upon its release. The reporter expressed that sentiment in a post on X as notable announcers broke news of their inclusion.

Those big names include Kirk Herbstreit, Chris Fowler, and David Pollack among others, but no women have come out to confirm they’ll be in the game.

Those college football voices will likely play a large part in the player experience, presumably adding to the realistic sights and sounds of gameplay with commentary from the broadcast booth.

While there may not be many women in the booth on gamedays, the sidelines are often filled with a female presence to give insight from coaches and players on the field.

Will that be the case in the video game, too? Molly McGrath is hoping so!

There are a number of notable personalities that would theoretically fit that mold, with McGrath certainly near the top of that list. Others could include Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge, both of whom have been staples on the sidelines over the years.
