AEW fans are officially fed up with Chris Jericho.
On Sunday, Jericho went against HOOK for the FTW championship at the AEW Dynasty event in St. Louis.
Jericho ended up winning the FTW championship but before he got serenaded with “please retire” chants.

Fans at the arena and online were not happy that AEW continues to promote the 53-year-old Jericho over some of the younger up-and-coming talent.
Pointless. No reason for this match, for him to win, and Jericho being shoved down our throat. This STINKS. #AEWDynasty pic.twitter.com/Hc0w0Izuew

We’ll have to wait and see if Tony Khan, an AEW, listens to fans’ complaints about Jericho or if the company decides to continue marketing him as one of its marquee wrestlers.
