Caitlin Clark is getting plenty of attention on the court, so much so that players are making mistakes while trying to keep up with her.
Earlier this year, Diana Taurasi went viral when she said that “reality is coming” for Clark and other WNBA rookies.
While Clark struggled early in the season, she’s beginning to heat up.
On Tuesday night, Clark had her first 30-point game of her WNBA career and put up a monster stat line vs the LA Sparks.Despite the loss, Caitlin Clark netted her first 30-ball, recording a new career-high! The rookie was getting it done on both sides of the floor, bringing in a mean stat line:

During the game, Sparks’ guard Aari McDonald was so focused on guarding Clark that she almost forgot to shoot her second free throw.

After the game, Clark was asked about the awkward interaction, and she was also confused about what happened.
Clark: "I think [McDonald] was trying to pick me up."
Clark also said Aari McDonald didn't say anything in between the free throws at the end of the first quarter, and she's super nice. (To clear up what I said earlier, and what some people commented, I saw it wrong).
