NY Jets QB Aaron Rodgers apparently was seriously considering running for Vice President.
A few months ago, third-party presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. made the shocking revelation that he was considering Rodgers to be his Vice Presidential running mate.
While Kennedy eventually chose Nicole Shanahan to be his running mate, Rodgers told Tucker Carlson in a wide-ranging interview that he thought about accepting because he wanted to help “make America great.
”“Oh yeah I thought about it and wanted to hear what he (Kennedy) thought about it,” said Rodgers. “He gets cornered, this guy is willing to tackle the big issues in this country and keep it real. That resonated with me. What used to make America great, we need to get back to that. I love people who stand up for what the believe in, like yourself Tucker.”
Rodgers also spoke about Trump not being able to “drain the swamp” while he was President because he may have been scared by what he learned while he was in office.
“He had four years to do it and didn’t drain the swamp.”
“Whether he just got scared because of what he learned when he was in there, I think that’s very plausible.”

It would have actually been kind of interesting to see Rodgers debate other vice presidential candidates ahead of the election.
