By now, Iowa star Caitlin Clark has done it all on an individual level in her college career.
The Hawkeyes guard broke Kelsey Plum’s NCAA Division I women’s all-time scoring record on Feb. 15.
Now, she’s also broken Pete Maravich’s elusive all-time Division I scoring record regardless of gender. And Nike, which currently sponsors Clark, honored both the achievement and her incredible college career in a manner that has fans going crazy.

The sports apparel giant hung a temporary banner on the side of a building in Iowa City. That alone isn’t unique. But what was different is the separate banner they hung across the street.
The first banner shows Clark shooting a 3-pointer. While the other features a hoop with the words “this was never a long shot” written on it.
It’s a remarkably unique campaign that fans couldn’t stop talking about.
“Nobody does campaigns like Nike, that’s where other brands will never catch up,” one fan tweeted.
“OOH ads that intelligently leverage physical context like this one still make me think ‘d—, that’s clever…’ more than any other channel. And yes, it does increase brand favorability in my eyes,” said another.

The Hawkeyes were runners-up in last year’s NCAA Tournament to the LSU Tigers. This time around, they’ll hope to do one better and send Clark out on top.
