On Thursday, hundreds of thousands of people descended upon downtown Denver for the parade that was organized to celebrate the Nuggets winning their first NBA title in franchise history.
As has been the case at similar celebrations in the past, members of the team pounced on the chance to let their hair down a bit with the help of the adult beverages that were flowing very freely over the course of the festivities—including head coach Michael Malone, who seemed to have an incredibly enjoyable afternoon.
Christian Braun was also tangentially responsible for one of the best moments to come out of the parade, as the rookie was the man who tossed a can of beer to the shirtless Nuggets fan who treated us to an interview for the ages after recapping that fateful moment.
Braun’s time in Denver may have gotten off to a somewhat rocky start, but he capped off his inaugural campaign in the best way possible and apparently wasn’t in the mood to stop celebrating once the parade officially wrapped up.
At some point during the day, the guard opted to channel his inner J.R. Smith and go shirtless, and while it’s unclear if Jackson’s (a sports bar across from Coors Field) usually allows customers to roll in with a bare torso, they were more than happy to give Braun a pass when he arrived at the establishment with his a custom Nuggets-themed WWE championship belt in tow.
Based on some clips that surfaced in the wake of his visit, Braun opted to pull a Coyote Ugly by chugging a beer while strutting on the top of the bar before hopping behind it to pour some tequila shots he passed out to the horde of fans that got to party with him.

That’s how you celebrate winning an NBA championship.
