We now have a bit of footage of the aftermath of the now-famous diarrhea plane incident.
Over the weekend, a Delta transatlantic flight from Atlanta to Barcelona, Spain, was grounded after a passenger apparently couldn’t contain his explosive diarrhea.
An audio transmission between the pilots and air traffic control was released on Twitter.
“This is a biohazard issue,” said the pilot to air-traffic control. “We’ve had a passenger who’s had diarrhea all the way through the airplane, so they want us to come back to Atlanta.”
A Delta Airlines Airbus A350 turned around back to Atlanta Friday night because of diarrhea throughout the airplane from a passenger and it’s a biohazard.

Business Insider reached out to the airline, and they said that the flight was diverted due to a “medical issue” but wouldn’t confirm whether there was a diarrhea incident on the plane.

Flight DL194 didn’t complete its journey to Barcelona until 5 p.m. the next day, eight hours later than it was scheduled to arrive, Flightradar24 indicated.
The departure had already been delayed by two hours before the incident on board. But Flightradar24 data suggested cleaning crews sorted the problem because the same plane was used for the second journey.
Delta told Insider a “medical issue” on board meant the plane had to return to Atlanta to be cleaned, though it did not disclose the nature of the issue.
A Twitter user named Xanby Swanson had a relative on the plane and shared video footage of the aftermath of the diarrhea incident.
