We’re still a ways away from UFC 290, but Dana White has an announcement regarding legendary fighter Robbie Lawler.
He’s set to take on Niko Price in what should be an exciting matchup.
However, it sounds like this will be the last time we see Lawler in the cage, as he’s reportedly going to retire no matter the result of that bout.
According to Damon Martin, Robbie Lawler is going to call it a career after his fight in July. Additionally, he’ll be enshrined in the UFC Hall of Fame shortly after the fight.

It’s been a long and historic journey for Lawler. He has a career record of 29 wins, 16 losses, and one no-contest.
He’s known for being an absolute mauler in the cage and has one of the most historic fights in UFC history against Rory MacDonald.
At 41 years old, it makes sense why Robbie Lawler is ready to retire from the UFC.
And in typical Lalwer fashion, he’ll go out with a bang, as Price is a tough opponent who loves standing and throwing punches as much as the soon-to-be UFC Hall of Famer.
This makes the UFC 290 card that much more of a draw, as fight fans will surely want to see Robbie Lalwer’s final fight of his career. Some fans are already congratulating him well before the fight.
Congratulations on a legendary career

How many UFC Hall of Famers will be in attendance of Robbie Lawlers final fight?
Great fighter and a great man. I hope Matt Hughes will be in attendance

With that said, hopefully Lawler’s training goes smoothly. UFC 290 kicks off on July 8. So make sure to set clear your schedules for early July.
