Beer Prices At Super Bowl LVIII In Las Vegas Beg For Fans To Drink Better Booze For Less Money

Super Bowl Drink Prices

Fans who attend Super Bowl LVIII will be able to drink better beer for less money. Well, everything is expensive. Outrageously so.

However, the prices at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas don’t make sense to me. It is a good thing for anyone who isn’t concerned about calories!

Here is how things break down at various concession stands throughout the venue:

  • Deluxe Cocktail — $17.99
    • Ketel One, Don Julio Reposado, Johnnie Walker Black, Crown Royal, Bulleit Bourbon, Ron Zacapa 23, Aviation
  • Premium Cocktail – $15.99
    • Smirnoff, Don Julio Blanco, Captain Morgan
  • Premium Draft — $16.99
    • Modelo Especial, Corona Premier, Blue Moon, Pacifico
  • Coors Light — $14.99
  • Bud Light — $16.99
  • Michelob Ultra — $18.99
  • Bud Light Seltzer — $18.99
  • Aluminum Aquafina — $6.99

Other non-drink options include:

  • Souvenir Popcorn — $14.99
  • Chili Dawg — $12.99
  • Pulled Pork Sandwich — $11.99
  • Cheese & Jalapeño with Bacon — $11.99
  • 2 Carne Asada Tacos — $11.99
  • 2 Chicken Tacos — $11.99
  • Shrimp And Crab Ceviche — $11.99

That doesn’t include all of the classic stadium food and

.

However, the focus here is drinks. The prices are mind-boggling!

It costs more money for a Michelob Ultra than a shot of Johnnie Walker Black or Aviation Gin. Isn’t the hard stuff more efficient in the long run? You can save money by getting a better buzz off of better booze!

If liquor isn’t your thing, no problem!

It costs two dollars more for a Bud Light than a Coors Light— which is absolutely the same beer in this context. If you’re an NFL fan who is trying to drink as many light beers as possible at the Super Bowl, why would you pay two additional dollars for one over the other?

Or, assuming that calories are not a legitimate concern, you can just drink a better beer for less money. Wouldn’t you rather pay the same price for a Blue Moon or Corona over a Bud Light? Wouldn’t you prefer to save two dollars on a Modelo over a Michelob or Bud Light Seltzer?

Maybe I’m missing something, or Maybe I’m the crazy one here— but this math isn’t adding up. Give me two shots of Bulleit and a Pacifico for two dollars more than three Bud Lights…
