On the eve of Manchester City traveling to the finest stadium in all of Europe, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, for a match that will decide the Premier League title, Arsenal ultras set off fireworks all night outside of the hotel where some Manchester City staff were staying.
There was reason to believe Manchester City players were at the hotel as Manchester City equipment was spotted on X (formerly Twitter) at the hotel so Arsenal supporters took matters into their own hands.
Videos of the fireworks at the hotel in North London went viral overnight:

A fellow Tottenham supporter posted this video from the hotel last night:

Nice display little Gooners. Pointless, but nice anyway. https://t.co/j9px4KNJzr pic.twitter.com/UdA5HRFMkt

Now this is ENTIRELY my own speculation as I’ve been following/interacting with this fellow for years. But that same Tottenham supporter/season ticket holder also may have unknowingly contributed to the Gooners lighting off fireworks outside of the hotel when he shared this image earlier in the day showing Manchester City equipment inside of the North London hotel:

Sadly for Arsenal supporters, all they accomplished was annoying everyone. Pep Guardiola and the Manchester City squad stayed back in Manchester on Monday night and didn’t travel to North London until Tuesday morning, as confirmed by
Their plan was, of course, to keep players up all night ahead of the Manchester City-Tottenham Hotspur match. If Spurs beat City then they effectively hand the Premier League title to their bitter North London rival, Arsenal, who haven’t won a PL title since 2004. If Tottenham loses at home to City they essentially block their rival (Arsenal) from the title with only one match week left in the season and Arsenal will hold a 1-point lead over City.
Of course, either could lose on Sunday and create chaos but this Tottenham match effectively decides the winner and Pep Guardiola’s City side have struggled more at Hotspur Way than any other place in Europe. In fact, in four trips to the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City squads have 74 shots leading to a whopping zero goals and zero wins (in PL games).
